Beyonce' Star Hair Style

alt

It looks like BeyoncĂ© can pull off absolutely any hairstyle: from long, sleek strands, to tight, springy ringlets, and multicolored tones…. this diva’s hair is always on point! Although she is known for her fierce dance moves and amazing voice, she has a terrific sense of style and her hair styles are always changing. She has gone from blonde to sleek and straight to natural curly and even having a tint of red in her hair.

alt

Beyonce is one of the current A list super stars who really knows how to rock their hair color and used this to full effect over the years. It’s no wonder that she was quickly snapped up to be the face of L’Oreal hair color! Her signature color is beautiful mixture of golden blondes and honey caramel brown tones, and after years of experimenting with lighter and dark shades, she seems to have settled on a mid range look that she has totally made her own.

alt

I've always loved a diva that isn’t afraid to experiment with hair color, and digging through the archives it’s nearly impossible to find an occasion where Beyonce has got it wrong. There have been some criticisms that Beyonce’s preference for a lighter hair color is disrespectful to her African American heritage, however she has gone on record saying how hurtful these comments are, and like any girl, she just wants to have a bit of fashion fun. Beyonce has said that she never dreamed that one day women around the globe would walk into a Salon and ask for here hair color and style.

Chop Chop / Super Model Style Cut

The haircut of the year has arrived. Vogue is calling it the Chop, others have named it the Karlie, after American super model Karlie Kloss. Ms. Kloss, already a fashion world veteran at age 20, cut off about seven inches of her dark hair late last year. Vogue declared it the “cut of the moment” in a four-page feature story in the January issue, saying “the season’s new hair is swingy, sexy — and refreshingly easy to wear.”

The style was the brainchild of the New York hairstylist Garren Defazio. The length, at just below the jaw, wasn’t so short as to be “out of proportion,” Mr. Defazio said. It rests just above the shoulders, with some layering in the front, and is topped off with bangs. He is emphatic that it’s neither a bob nor a shag, but a one-length cut with a slight layer in the front. It’s a low maintenance look that sets off the face. “I cut it to encourage her natural wave,” Mr. Defazio said. “It’s long enough so she can gel it back, add extentions for a longer look and it’s modern because it’s airy and rumpled. As for Ms. Kloss’s feeling about the cut, Mr. Defazio said: “Karlie in love with the new look and can’t stop touching it.” She doesn’t have to blow it dry, just shampoo, put on lipstick and mascara, and she feels finished and modern.”
Versions of the style cut, with its length hovering somewhere between the chin and the shoulder, and with a few layers and fringe of bangs, has been spotted on models like Arizona Muse, Catherine McNeil, Karen Elson and Lily Kwong.
When Kate Moss cut her hair really short, everyone started cutting their hair,” Mr. Defazio said. “When somebody notable finds their look, it catches on and becomes a trend.” The Chop has inspired an array of reactions online. Some ask is “Karlie Chop Haircut: The Next ’Rachel’?” Is short hair styles back in style. What do think ???

Brave New World of Hair Color

The big story was at one time highlighting, that isn't really new anymore because foil highlights have been around for a long time. However we’ve come a long way from "streaking" hair where we put blonde color in everyone's hair from black to brown to red or mousey blonde.

Hair Coloring has evolved into a Living Art Form something quite different. Creative hair colorist’s now add splashes of color or color just the bottom part for a two tone effect and are using a full palette of up to six contrasting shades for a rainbow effect. You’re now only limited by your imagination and just how daring your clients are. It’s a brave exciting new world of color and the sky’s the limit; here are a few examples of hair art coloring effects showing up around the globe.

Danial Craig 007 Star Style

Drawing inspiration from the hair style trends of our favorite stars and celebrities has become a national pass time. One star whose hairstyle has become the latest must have look among men of all ages is Daniel Craig. His piercing blue bed room eyes and stylish contoured style cut gives this Bond a double-o dose of Panache'. Daniel’s rugged good looks and suave persona is irresistible to women and quite the catch for those babe's attracted to the cool stylish types.
TO GET THE LOOK: Are you looking for a hair style to blow the competition away? If that's the case, try Daniel Craig’s 007 style cut on for size and find out why this Bond style is a lethal “babe magnet". This stylish ruff and tumble style is designed for any occasion and almost styles itself. To get the look, let’s take it one step at a time; starting with a style cut and shaping.
LET’S SHAPE IT: Start with a contoured style cut for volume with short tapered sideburns and collar length neckline. The crown is cut short for a tousled finger combed effect with a few spiky "love locks" across the forehead to put a receding hair line stylishly under cover. With a few adjustments (tweaks) as it grows you can find the ideal length and shape for your secret agent style.

LET’S STYLE IT: Mist with Special Effects three-in-one styling spray and comb in place to dry au natural or give it a quick blast with a pistil grip blow dryer for a full look and you’ve got the James Bond "secret agent" style.

LET'S ADD Accessories: What's a Bond Style without a few accessories? For a casual look top it off with a white T-shirt, black boomer jacket and canvas shoes paired with Omega watch and Ray Ban aviator sunglasses and you’re styling.

NOW, LET’S Color it: Movie actors change their hair color often for the many roles they play so coloring their hair is no big deal. If you have brown graying hair like Daniel’s, a light sandy brown tint will give it a over all thicker look and keep those few gray hair’s stylishly “under-cover”. To keep it up, the new growth is re-colored with every other hair cut. This extra step will cost a few extra bucks but it's a small price to pay for a stylish youthful look.

Your Suave 007 Bond Style is a lethal “babe” magnet and comes equipped with everything you need for a stylish look. The contoured silhouette and tapered neckline with a few short "love locks" across the forehead puts your receding hairline stylishly "under cover". The light sandy brown color washes the gray away and give it a thicker look. Heads will turn and the "Sky will Fall" when you show up looking oh so stylish with Denial Craig's suave "007 secret agent" style. For more Star Styles www.georgecaroll.com

Famous Redhead Stars

alt
Redheads throughout history have often been portrayed as fiery and seductive; from Queen Elizabeth I to Cleopatra (who some argue was a redhead). Sexy red heads is something Hollywood has loved from its early days. Think of Clara Bow the red headed “It Girl” or Lucille Ball and Maureen O’Hara with their playful confident personalities. And who can forget Rita Hayworth’s bombshell sexuality. Today’s dazzling redheads; Lindsay Lohan, Debra Messing, Susan Sarandon, Julia Roberts and Nicole Kidman continue to light up the silver screen with their ravishing red locks.

alt

For years the hair fashion industry has been obsessed with blondes. Make no mistake, blond hair isn't going out of style but it's time for the blond to make way for the redhead. Red isn't just a hair color it's an attitude. If it were a formula I’d mix two parts red hair, one part personality, plus two parts sexual confidence and give it time to process. It’s said that Blondes have more fun, but Redheads are never forgotten. Bette Midler (singer- actress) may have said it best, "Gentlemen may prefer blonds, but it takes a real man to tame a redhead."

alt

Red hair comes in many shades from cool to warm and is most flattering for creamy complexions although red also works well with complexions with medium warm tones. Women with pale porcelain skin and green or blue eyes should go for natural gingers and neutral-tone coppers. Dark and olive skin tones should stick with the Burgundies and violet-based colors. Brunettes should favor the darker shades of red to match their complexion and natural hair color. Medium brown and light blonde can wear either dark or lighter shades of reds. Adding red highlights or lowlights with a foil weaving technique can achieve a natural or dramatic look. This dimensional look is eye-catching and far from ordinary for those who like to get noticed. If you chose to become a redhead lightening the brows will give it a natural look.

alt
Because red hair dye contains the smallest of hair color molecules keeping red from fading can be challenging. Small molecules enter the hair shaft easily but also wash out of the hair quickly. To preserve the color using a pigmented shampoo or conditioner between touch ups can help prevent premature fading. Because there are dozens of ravishing red hues from strawberry and auburn to coppers it can be difficult to know which shade is right for you. To determine what shade would suit you best and which to avoid a visit to a professional hair colorist is well worth the time and expense. Before you make an appointment clip a few pictures from magazines with colors you’re interested in trying and show them to the colorist….a picture is worth a thousand words!
