Tax Deductible Haircuts

HOW ABOUT A TAX DEDUCTIBLE HAIRCUT?

Jump-start the economy &  improve America's Face Value
With the high cost of salon visit's today the vast majority of American's can’t afford to visit a salon on a regular basis. I have a solution, how about a tax deductible hair cut? It would jump-start the economy, stimulate the beauty industry and improve America's face value.

A simple $100 per year (deduction) for grooming would go a long way to cover the cost for this healthy service the professional beauty industries (salons) provide. As the saying goes, when you look good, you feel good, it’s the essence of what we professional's provide. It’s much more than a hairdo' or simply an accessory to fashion.

Think of what this would do to stimulate the beauty industry and help every American afford to look their best. Research has shown that only a small percentage of the population can afford to visit a salon. As a result the vast majority of people have never experienced what a salon visit can do to build confidence and improve their appearance both physically and emotionally.

Many of you reading this thought provoking article may get a "few giggles" out of it, but people in the public eye and entertainment industry have been deducting personal care services for years, legally. And many corporations and businesses require their employee's to look well groomed at their own expense and hair is a big part of that.

We've been getting clipped for years, isn’t it time for a trim?
How about a tax deductible haircut?
